This licence is valid for a maximum of 4999 persons at any one time but the premises may also be subject to a maximum occupancy figure.
Mandatory Condition: Exhibition of Films
The admission of children under the age of 18 to film exhibitions permitted under the terms of this licence shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made
a) By the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), where the film has been classified by that Board, or
b) By the licensing Authority where no classification certificate has been granted by the BBFC, or, where the licensing authority has notified the licence holder that section 20 (3) (b) (74 (3)(b) for clubs) of the Licensing Act 2003 applies to the film.
Conditions Agreed with Environmental Health
1. General
There shall be a responsible adult over the age of 18 present at all events at which regulated entertainment is taking place to ensure that premises licence conditions are adhered to.
Conditions consistent with applicant’s operating schedule
General
1. There will not be any adult entertainment or services from the Centre. All activities that will take place at the Centre will be run by responsible adults. All services that take place through the Children’s Centre remit will have to ensure their staff are CRB checked and have appropriate training. The licence holder will advise community groups that they should be CRB checked where appropriate for activities involving children.
2. The licence holder will ensure that any hire of the community centre is subject to the Hire agreement and any childrens centre services are subject to a service level agreement.
The prevention of crime and disorder
3. There shall be regular monitoring of the premises by the caretaker.
4. The licence holder shall liaise with the Police where necessary.
5. The licence holder will ensure that any advice given by Leicestershire Constabulary will be followed.
6. The licence holder will ensure that the Centre has responsible key holders who ensure the centre is opened and locked when necessary.
7. The licence holder will ensure that there is CCTV monitoring within the premises at all times.
Public safety
8. The licence holder will ensure that risk assessments are provided for all Children Centre activities and advised for all community activities.
9. The licence holder will ensure that all electrical equipment is checked annually.
10. The licence holder will ensure that policies and procedures are clearly indicated with regards to health and safety, fire safety and first aid.
The prevention of public nuisance
11. The licence holder will ensure that noise from within the community centre is controlled.
12. Public using the centre will be managed by customer service advisers with support where necessary by the caretaker.
The protection of children from harm
13. The licence holder will ensure that there is a drug and alcohol policy implemented.
14. The licence holder will ensure that all children’s centre activities will have adequate adult supervision and all adults will be CRB checked.
