Embedded restriction - Credit sales clubs
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal.
Conditions agreed with Environmental Health
Music and amplified speech shall be inaudible at the boundary of nearby residential properties after 23.00 hours.
Failure to achieve inaudibility may require:
External doors and windows to be kept closed in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech are taking place, other than for access and egress. It may be necessary to install mechanical extract ventilation or air conditioning for use during warm weather.
Installation of acoustic enclosures to extraction and ventilation openings in the external fabric of the premises and/or
Installation of secondary double glazing and/or
a noise limiting device. The noise limiting device shall be installed, fitted and maintained in such a manner as to control all sources of amplified music at the premises. Once set such a device should be inaccessible to the licensee or his staff.
Any external seating areas must not be used by customers after 2300 hours.
Clear and prominent notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting customers to respect the needs of local residents and leave the premises and area quietly.
The licensee will ensure that
a) Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems are not used without prior inspection by a suitable qualified electrician.
b) Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems shall comply with the recommendations of BS 7671 or where applicable BS 7909
c) Where they have not been installed by a competent person, temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems are to be inspected and certified by a competent person before they are put to use.
d) Entertainment equipment shall be fitted with a 30mAmp RCD (residual current device)
The licensee will ensure that an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials is available on the premises.
The licensee should advise Melton Borough Council as to the intended maximum capacity at the premises.

The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
Will observe and enforce club rules especially with regard to membership applications; the right to refuse to admit, suspend or expel any member; members should conduct themselves in a gentlemanly manner.
We will not serve alcoholic drinks to anyone thought to have overindulged.
Public Safety
Closing hours will be observed
Risk assessments will be carried out on all identified hazards
Inside and external areas will be regularly cleaned and tidied
All exits will be kept clear and fully operational
Maintain building and surrounds to avoid all slip and trip hazards
The Prevention of Public Nuisance

Liaison with neighbours, with whom we have a good relationship
Very occasionally noise, voices and music may be generated, due to our isolated location these cannot be heard in any dwelling if our windows and doors are kept shut
External lights are provided to car park
The Protection of Children from Harm
Many of our members have passed necessary coaching levels and therefore are aware of first aid, safe hands etc, also they hold CRP certificates.
Record of contact names, including their doctor’s name and allergies are kept in the club house.
Proof of age will be requested for supply of alcohol.
Certain events may limit or exclude children at the committee’s discretion.
