This licence is valid for a maximum of 4999 persons at any one time but the premises may also be subject to a maximum occupancy figure.
Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence-
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(2) Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Mandatory conditions which came into force on 6 April 2010
1. (1) The responsible person shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that staff on relevant premises do not carry out, arrange or participate in any irresponsible promotions in relation to the premises.
(2) In this paragraph, an irresponsible promotion means any one or more of the following activities, or substantially similar activities, carried on for the purpose of encouraging the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises in a manner which carries a significant risk of leading or contributing to crime and disorder, prejudice to public safety, public nuisance, or harm to children-
(a) games or other activities which require or encourage, or are designed to require or encourage, individuals to-
(i) drink a quantity of alcohol within a time limit (other than to drink alcohol sold or supplied on the premises before the cessation of the period in which the responsible person is authorised to sell or supply alcohol), or
(ii) drink as much alcohol as possible (whether within a time limit or otherwise);
(b) provision of unlimited or unspecified quantities of alcohol free or for a fixed or discounted fee to the public or to a group defined by a particular characteristic (other than any promotion or discount available to an individual in respect of alcohol for consumption at a table meal, as defined in section 159 of the Act);
(c) provision of free or discounted alcohol or any other thing as a prize to encourage or reward the purchase and consumption of alcohol over a period of 24 hours or less;
(d) provision of free or discounted alcohol in relation to the viewing on the premises of a sporting event, where that provision is dependent on-
(i) the outcome of a race, competition or other event or process, or
(ii) the likelihood of anything occurring or not occurring;
(e) selling or supplying alcohol in association with promotional posters or flyers on, or in the vicinity of, the premises which can reasonably be considered to condone, encourage or glamorise anti-social behaviour or to refer to the effects of drunkenness in any favourable manner.
2. The responsible person shall ensure that no alcohol is dispensed directly by one person into the mouth of another (other than where that other person is unable to drink without assistance by reason of a disability).
3. The responsible person shall ensure that free tap water is provided on request to customers where it is reasonably available.
Mandatory conditions which came into force on 1 October 2010
4. (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
(2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.
5. The responsible person shall ensure that-
(a) where any of the following alcoholic drinks is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises (other than alcoholic drinks sold or supplied having been made up in advance ready for sale or supply in a securely closed container) it is available to customers in the following measures-
(i) beer or cider: ½ pint;
(ii) gin, rum, vodka or whisky: 25 ml or 35 ml; and
(iii) still wine in a glass: 125 ml; and
(b) customers are made aware of the availability of these measures.
Mandatory Condition: Door Supervisors
When one or more individuals are at the premises to carry out a security activity, each such individual must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.
Mandatory Condition: Exhibition of Films
The admission of children under the age of 18 to film exhibitions permitted under the terms of this licence shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made
a) By the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), where the film has been classified by that Board, or
b) By the licensing Authority where no classification certificate has been granted by the BBFC, or, where the licensing authority has notified the licence holder that section 20 (3) (b) (74 (3)(b) for clubs) of the Licensing Act 2003 applies to the film.
Conditions Imposed by the Licensing Committee
1. The internal roof of the entertainments room should be fitted with an internal new acoustic roof and ceiling, fully sealed to the inner walls of the building.
2. All windows to the entertainments room shall be fitted with secondary double- glazing using laminated glass inclusive to a sealed inner frame.
3. Each of the three existing roof vents should be fully sealed.
4. Children under the age of 12 years shall not be allowed outside the premises after 9.30 pm.
5. All external doors and windows must be kept closed in all rooms when events involving amplifying music or speech are taking place, other than for access and egress.
6. Clear and prominent notices shall be displayed at all exists, in external seating areas and car parks requesting customers to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly.
7. Any external seating area must not be used by customers after 23.00 hrs.
8. No drinks to be taken outside of the building after 23.00 hrs, except for off sales.
9. An air conditioning system to be installed in the room where entertainments are taking place.
Note to applicant: It would be beneficial to have regular liaison between the Club and local residents in order to address any concerns or problems arising, and this is to be encouraged.
Conditions Consistent with Applicants Operating Schedule
General
The property adjoining the club is occupied by the Club Manager, who ensures that the property is properly secured and who keeps and general watch over the premises.
All Staff receive training and updates
The licence holder will ensure all members and customers abide by the Club Rules. Any breach will result in disciplinary action which may result in either exclusion or ban. A code of acceptable behaviour is in place.
The prevention of crime and disorder
Staff are instructed to refuse to serve anyone who is drunk or abusive and ensure that they leave the club in a calm and quiet way. Challenge 21 policy is in place.
All interior trading areas are visible by staff from behind the bar.
Doors to the changing rooms a re coded, providing easy access out, but not in, without the code.
Burglar alarm is in place
Car Park is illuminated.
Public Safety
The committee has appointed Health and Safety manager to ensure all regulations are complied with.
Disabled facilities are provided.
Exits are clearly marked and in the event of a power failure, an emergency lighting system (maintained and certified) is in place to guide customers from the premises.
Fire Extinguishers are checked and certified annually. The muster point is clearly identified.
Some staff and coaches are qualified first aiders
First aid boxes and accident reporting systems are in place.
PAT testing and Gas safety checks are carried out annually.
Kitchen hygiene rules are established and Food Hygiene Certificate is in place for key staff.

The licence holder will ensure that doors and windows are closed (except for access and egress) at all times when music and amplified speech are taking place.
Prominent, clear and legible notices are displayed at exits requesting customers to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
Seated area outside the club are off limits after 11.00pm
External lighting is provided.
The club is largely double glazed and exits to and from the club have double doors to minimise egress of noise.
The protection of children from harm
The club has a strong Junior Membership and has appointed a Child Protection Officer and child protection policies to ensure children are protected and their health and safety is paramount. The Club is ‘clubmark accredited’
All coaches using the club are CRB checked
Suitable soft drinks (hot and cold) are available to promote a family atmosphere.
