Members' Christmas Party
The hours for licensable activities E,F,J & L are extended to 02:30 hours for the Members' Christmas Party for one day during December annually, as per Club Rules.

The supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises must
1. only be made at a time when the premises are open for the purposes of supplying alcohol, in accordance with this club premises certificate, to members of the club for consumption on the premises
2. be in a sealed container
only be made to a member of the club in person
Credit sales clubs - Embedded restriction
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal.
Conditions Agreed with Environmental Health
Amplified music is not to be audible at the boundary of nearby residential properties after 22:00 hours.
Clear and prominent notices shall be displayed at all exits, in external seating areas and car park requesting customers to respect the needs of local residents and leave the premises and area quietly.
The licensee will ensure that
a) Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems are not used without prior inspection by a suitable qualified electrician.
b) Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems shall comply with the recommendations of BS 7671 or where applicable BS 7909
c) Where they have not been installed by a competent person, temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems are to be inspected and certified by a competent person before they are put to use.
d) Entertainment equipment shall be fitted with a 30mAmp RCD (residual current device)
The licensee will ensure that an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials is available on the premises.

General
Cameras are installed at all entrances to monitor the arrival and departure of members and guests
Club management, steward and bar staff are informed of the Licensing Act 2003 objectives and statutory requirements to comply with all relevant provisions of the Act
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The Club constitution includes rules governing the conduct of members and their guests within and adjacent to the club premises. Admission to the club is confined to members, temporary members, affiliated members and their bona fide guests
Club employees are instructed not to admit or serve members and guests who behave in a drunk or disorderly fashion. Misconduct is reported to the committee to consider action under the club’s disciplinary code
Public Safety
The club complies with Health and Safety and Fire precautions regulations. Following risk assessment, preventative and controlled measures are in place to ensure the safety of the members, guests, employees and entertainers while on the premises. Fire action notices are posted; emergency escape routes are signposted
Disabled entrance provided via the side entrance to the rear function room with double doors for safe evacuation of the disabled
Escape routes are regularly checked and maintained by the house committee
The number of guests at functions is limited to the recommended level set by the fire department
The prevention of Public Nuisance
When live or recorded music is played all reasonable steps are taken to avoid disturbance to neighbouring properties. Exit from the function room is via a side passageway to the front of the building or via the front door, both exits lead directly to the main street in the commercial area. Rear doors are fire exit doors only
Air conditioning has been installed in the function rooms to prevent the need to open windows and doors during hot weather.
An extension for new toilets and store room to the rear of the property is nearing completion. This will further sound proof the Function Room.
Passageways are swept on a regular basis and kept free of bottles and glass
Biffa bins are in use to ensure rubbish is contained and kept tidy
The protection of children from harm
Persons under the age of 18 are only allowed in the Club if accompanied by an adult member.
Young adults applying for membership must satisfy the committee that they are over 18, if necessary by producing proof of age. Accompanied children and grandchildren of member and their guests may attend a private party in the function room.
Committee members, club steward and the other members of staff are instructed in the offence provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 relating to alcohol and the protection of children.
Signage is posted at all bars prohibiting the direct or indirect supply or delivery of alcohol to under 18 year olds.
