This licence is valid for a maximum of 4999 persons at any one time but the premises may also be subject to a maximum occupancy figure.
The licensable activity authorised by this licence relates to the areas marked on the attached plan.
Mandatory Condition: Door Supervisors
When one or more individuals are at the premises to carry out a security activity, each such individual must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.
Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence-
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(2) Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Conditions Consistent with Applicant’s Operating Schedule
(3) General
(a) The licence holder will ensure that all staff are updated regularly and reminded of what is required of them.
(b) The licence holder will ensure that all members abide by the Club Rules and any breach will result in exclusion or ban
(4) The prevention of crime and disorder
(a) The licence holder will ensure that staff are told not to serve anyone who is drunk or abusive and ensure they leave the club in a quiet and calm way
(b) The licence holder will ensure that Committee members are present to monitor the situation
(5) Public safety
(a) The licence holder will ensure staff are trained in fire procedures and anti social behaviour.
(6) The prevention of public nuisance
(a) The licence holder will ensure there are rules to prevent the serving of alcohol to anyone under the influence of drugs or who are drunk
(7) The protection of children from harm
(a) The licence holder will ensure that children entering the premises are accompanied by a parent or supervisor under club rules and that they must remain with this adult during their visit. Failure to abide by this rule will result in their being asked to leave.
(8) Condition relevant to any Adult Entertainment
The licence holder will ensure that if there is any adult entertainment that a door supervisor is employed for the duration of the event. This door supervisor must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority as per the Mandatory Condition above.
(9) Conditions agreed with Environmental Health
(a) Music and speech from regulated entertainment is not to be audible at the boundary of nearby residential properties after 23:00 hours and should not cause a nuisance before this time
(b) Clear and prominent notices shall be displayed at all exits and car park requesting customers to respect the needs of local residents and leave the premises and area quietly.
(c) The licensee will ensure that
i. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems are not used without prior inspection by a suitable qualified electrician.
ii. Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems shall comply with the recommendations of BS 7671 or where applicable BS 7909
iii. Where they have not been installed by a competent person, temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems are to be inspected and certified by a competent person before they are put to use.
iv. Entertainment equipment shall be fitted with a 30mAmp RCD (residual current device)
