Mandatory Condition: Exhibition of Films
The admission of children under the age of 18 to film exhibitions permitted under the terms of this licence shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made
a) By the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), where the film has been classified by that Board, or
b) By the licensing Authority where no classification certificate has been granted by the BBFC, or, where the licensing authority has notified the licence holder that section 20 (3) (b) (74 (3)(b) for clubs) of the Licensing Act 2003 applies to the film.
Conditions Consistent with Applicant's Operating Schedule
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The Community Centre is rented out to local groups for celebratory events, or fund raising events for charities or local groups (eg church, chapel). No disreputable events are permitted by the School Governing Body (Eg adult only entertainment).
Public Safety
Premises checked annually by Fire Department, including electrical inspection; also inspection of fire exits; emergency lighting; fire extinguishers. Health and safety checks made annually on the premises.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Evening events are usually completed by 22:00. Social events with music and dancing occur less than ten occasions per year and they must finish by midnight.
The Protection of Children From Harm
The School Governors do not permit the renting of the premises to unwholesome activities (eg adult only entertainments; boxing matches).
