This licence is valid for a maximum of 4999 persons at any one time but the premises may also be subject to a maximum occupancy figure.
Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence-
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(2) Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Conditions agreed with Environmental Health
1. Music is not to be audible at the boundary of nearby residential properties after 23:00 hours. Failure to achieve inaudibility may require a noise limiting device. The noise limiting device would be required to be installed, fitted and maintained in such a manner as to control all sources of amplified music at the premises. Once set such a device would be inaccessible to the licensee or his staff.
2. All external doors and windows must be kept closed in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech are taking place, other than for access or egress. It may be necessary to install mechanical extract ventilation or air conditioning for use during warm weather.
3. In the event of audibility at the boundary of nearby residential properties after 23:00, Melton Borough Council will consult the licence holder. The most likely outcome is that openings (including those for extract and ventilation purposes) in the external fabric of the premises will be acoustically sealed to the satisfaction of the licensing authority.
4. Clear and prominent notices shall be displayed at all exits, in the external seating areas and car park requesting customers to respect the needs of local residents and leave the premises and area quietly.
5. The external seating areas must not be used by customers after 23:00 hours.
6. The licensee will ensure that
a) Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems are not used without prior inspection by a suitable qualified electrician.
b) Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems shall comply with the recommendations of BS 7671 or where applicable BS 7909
c) Where they have not been installed by a competent person, temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems are to be inspected and certified by a competent person before they are put to use.
d) Entertainment equipment shall be fitted with a 30mAmp RCD (residual current device)
7. The licensee will ensure that an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials is available on the premises.
8. The licensee should advise Melton Borough Council as to the intended maximum capacity at the premises

The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
We will obtain and maintain membership of an appropriate pub watch if there is one or if one becomes available.
We will involve our premises in appropriate local police/council initiatives if or when necessary to promote the prevention of crime and disorder.
We will ensure staff training is provided where appropriate to include drug awareness, the Licensing Act etc
Public Safety
We will ensure staff training is provided for health and safety where appropriate
We will ensure one member of our team will be first aid trained
We will carry out risk assessments to ensure staff instruction is given
We will undertake no irresponsible drink promotions
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
We will have doors and windows closed when live music is playing.
Period of chill-out will be allowed after live entertainment
We will request customers leave our premises in a quiet and orderly fashion.
We will ensure our external garden areas close at an appropriate time with regards to our neighbours.
The Protection of Children From Harm
Children must be accompanied by an appropriate adult and vacate by 23.30.
Appropriate adults will be reminded that children are their responsibility and that the external garden and play area, where applicable, is unsupervised
