General
Awareness of licensing restrictions communicated to all staff and users.
The premises hired on a ‘selected’ basis to known groups or individuals.
Review and monitor use against the four objectives on a regular basis.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The premises will only be used by ‘low risk’ groups mostly without the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Care of the premises is a provision of contract.
A ‘responsible’ person will always be nominated / present for each function.
Public Safety
The premises are assessed annually for risks and corrective action taken.
Fire and evacuation procedures are in place.
Kitchen hygiene rules are established.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Functions likely to cause excessive noise or late night revelling are not permitted.
Parking is adjacent to the building. Access and exit is clear and well maintained.
The building is not close to any domestic properties.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Nursery staff are CRB checked.
Age Concern staff are CRB checked.
Access to ‘children-occupied’ areas only via ‘managed’ entrances.
Ofsted inspection standards required for safety and suitability of premises.
